Radson Flores takes horseback riding lessons for role as Mark Gordon in 'Voltes V: Legacy'
Radson Flores, who will play Mark Gordon in "Voltes V: Legacy," has taken horseback riding lessons in preparation for his rodeo champion role.
In Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," Monday, the actor said it was not easy but he strived to succeed.
"It's like dancing with the horse. Your feet should not step on each other. You should have the same rhythm, momentum, and then balance," Radson said in a mix of English and Filipino.
Radson added that just like Mark, he is also an introvert so he can promise that viewers can hope for the character to be the same as the "Voltes V" canon.
"I'll make sure that I'll stick to Mark's character whom people remember as rugged, loves horses, but is still focused on saving the Earth," he said.
Last week, Ysabel Ortega (Jamie Robinson), Miguel Tanfelix (Steve Armstrong), and Matt Lozano (Big Bert) wowed everyone in their stunt training.
Previously, Miguel revealed that he was undergoing firearm training for his role. Ysabel also first showcased her skills when she gave no mercy to her enemies in a stunt video.
Production is already underway for the upcoming "Voltes V" adaptation, which also stars Raphael Landicho (Little Jon).
A teaser for the highly anticipated series was released in January and it has since received over a million views on YouTube.
The live action adaptation was licensed by Japan's Toei Company Ltd. through the Philippine-based Telesuccess Productions.
