Max Collins renews contract with GMA Network: 'I am so proud to be a Kapuso'

Max Collins is proud to remain a Kapuso!

The award-winning actress looked radiant and stunning as she renewed her contract with GMA management in a virtual ceremony on Friday.

"When I was launched as a Kapuso for the first time, I was around 19 years old," Max said.

"It was like a dream come true because I always wanted to be a Kapuso, so that was very memorable for me," she added.

Max also turned emotional during the signing when she recalled a time that made her doubt her potential as an actress.

"Ten years ago, lahat nagsabi sa 'kin na never ako magiging bida, na hanggang kontrabida lang ako, and thanks to GMA, nabigyan ako ng chance, and ever since then, tuloy-tuloy na," the actress said, tearing up as she spoke.

("Ten years ago, everyone kept telling me I would never land a lead role, that I'll always be the antagonist, and thanks to GMA, I was given a chance and more came since then.")

"So I'm so thankful for all of the love and everything that you've given me and I am so proud to be a Kapuso. Thank you," she said.

Max is one of GMA's finest leading ladies, as well as one of the most beautiful faces in Philippine show business.

She has received several prestigious recognitions in the past decade, including the Special Jury Prize at the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival for her performance in "Rainbow's Sunset," as well as an Award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2019 Editor’s Entertainment Choice Awards for her role in "Citizen Jake."

The actress, model, and proud mother to a baby boy named Skye is set to captivate Kapuso viewers once again in the upcoming GMA drama "To Have and To Hold," together with Rocco Nacino and Carla Abellana.
