Bianca Umali prepares for ‘Legal Wives’ role by studying Maranao culture, religion

Bianca Umali has been preparing for her role as Farrah on GMA’s upcoming series “Legal Wives” by studying the Maranao culture and religion.

“I’ve been preparing for the long Maranao words,” she told Cata Tibayan in Filipino on “24 Oras” Thursday. “I always stay beside our consultants because it’s really hard. It’s hard to memorize Maranao terms.”

Bianca also said she could personally relate to Farrah’s strength in facing challenges.

“Even though she’s clueless or she doesn’t expect what will happen, she faces it with her whole heart and she doesn’t lose herself,” she said.

In a previous interview, Bianca admitted to feeling challenged about her role as Ismael’s (Dennis Trillo) third and youngest wife.

However, she is very grateful to be given the opportunity to work alongside the actor.

In June, Alice Dixson (Amirah Macadatu) also gave a behind-the-scenes footage from their set.
