Ervic Vijandre remains a Kapuso after renewing contract with GMA Network

Ervic Vijandre is still a certified Kapuso as he renewed his contract with GMA Artist Center on Thursday.

In an online interview with the press, Ervic said he is thankful for another opportunity to continue his showbiz career with the management and network.

"I feel very blessed. I'm very grateful to GMA Artist Center, GMA Network, the [bosses], and my handler for trusting me," he told GMA News Online in English and Filipino.

Ervic said he is hoping to work with Heart Evangelista and the newest Kapuso Bea Alonzo.

He also said that he considers his role as Erroll in "A1 Ko Sa 'yo" his best work so far.

"It's different from the roles I've done because it's a sitcom. I was able to show more sides of me that’s more comedic," he said. "It's light compared to my antagonist and villain roles."

His other works include "Cain at Abel," "Encantadia," "The Good Daughter," and episodes in "Wish Ko Lang" and "Magpakailanman."

Ervic joined GMA's reality series "Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown" in 2010 and officially signed with Artist Center in 2015.
