Jessica Villarubin grateful to be a Kapuso: 'GMA po talaga dahilan kung bakit natupad yung pangarap ko sa buhay'

Jessica Villarubin is grateful now that she is officially a Kapuso artist, less than a year after winning "The Clash" Season 3.

"I am very grateful po na maging parte ng pamilyang ito kasi yung GMA po talaga kung bakit natupad yung pangarap ko sa buhay. Ito 'yung naka-discover sa 'kin," she told GMA News Online in a virtual Zoom interview.

"So super grateful po maging Kapuso. Super saya kasi nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon maibahagi ang aking talento at maging inspirasyon sa mga nangangarap," she added.

[I'm very grateful to be a part of the GMA family. It was really GMA that helped me make my dreams come true. They discovered me. I'm super grateful and super happy because I was given a chance to share my talents and become an inspiration to those who are still making their dreams come true.]

Jessica who is currently a regular in "All Out Sundays," said she is open to any project that will be given to her by the network, even acting.

"I'm very open to the opportunities that they will give me and I'm willing to learn acting but right now, singing remains my focus. But why not, right? If acting projects come my way," she said in Filipino.

“Power Diva ng Cebu” Jessica Villarubin was named grand champion of "The Clash" Season 3 last December.

Jessica is the third grand champion of The Clash after Golden Cañedo at Jeremiah Tiangco. — LA, GMA News
