David Licauco remains a Kapuso: ‘I’m very grateful and happy’

Kapuso viewers will be seeing more of David Licauco because the Chinito Heartthrob has just renewed his contract with GMA Network.

“I’m very happy and very, very grateful to GMA kasi ’yung pagiging artista, it has been a dream of mine way back,” David told reporters on Wednesday.

David captivated viewers as a highly sought-after leading man in GMA’s well-loved rom-com “Heartful Café” where he served up tons of kilig with Julie Anne San Jose.

Since the hit teleserye aired its heartwarming finale last month, the actor, athlete and entrepreneur said he was excited to jump right back to acting on another project as a Kapuso.

“Just [to be] given this opportunity ... sobrang happy lang and dahil doon [gusto kong suklian] ’yung trust na binigay nila sa akin,” he said.

“Sa mga next projects ko mas gagalingan ko pa, mas iwo-work on ko pa yung sarili ko with regards to acting, and ayun just really thankful talaga.” – RC, GMA News
