Christian Bautista renews contract with GMA Network

Christian Bautista is still a Kapuso!

The one and only Asia's Romantic Balladeer just renewed his contract with GMA Network on Thursday, June 24.

After almost two decades in the industry, Christian said he's looking forward to serenading fans across the globe through different avenues as part of the Kapuso family.

"I am proud to be a Kapuso because we are still able to entertain people, and able to give service in terms of news and information, as well," Christian said.

"I am proud also, because they have been there for me through thick and thin these last few years, and I'm hoping for more years of wonderful fellowship,  wonderful entertainment, and shows as well," he added.

Christian is known all over the world as a true OPM icon.

Apart from his notable talent at swoon-worthy ballads, the Kapuso singer is also an established songwriter, actor, host, producer, endorser, model, and theater performer.

He has wowed crowds across the globe after more than hundred local and international concerts, and has showcased his talent as an actor on TV dramas broadcasted in the Philippines and abroad.

Even with the COVID-19 pandemic, Christian continued to inspire young artists as a judge and mentor on GMA-7's "The Clash," and treated viewers to special virtual performances on GMA-7's weekend variety show "All Out Sundays."

"There will be good years, there will be tough years. You just have to keep on moving, crawling, walking, flying... Just keep on moving," he said when asked about the lessons he learned as an artist.

"Another is to surround yourself with people who believe in you and people who believe in what you can be," he added.
