'First Yaya' to air its finale episode on July 2

"First Yaya" is set to air its finale episode on July 2, Friday.

In an online press conference on Thursday, Sanya Lopez (Yaya Melody) said viewers should watch out for the last week as it will be full of happiness and kilig.

"We let you feel the pain this week so you'll experience the happiness more," the Kapuso actress told GMA News Online in Filipino.

Director LA Madridejos added that they will end the show on a happy note.

"With how we made you smile in the beginning, that's how we'll be ending it," he said.

"You will smile, you will fall in love, it will be so full of happiness since our goal is to help the audience cross the pandemic," he said.

Stars Gabby Concepcion and Sanya expressed their thanks to the viewers who have been supporting the show and making them trend on social media.

"First Yaya" revolves around the nanny Melody, who develops a relationship with the Philippine president Glenn Acosta as she serves his family.

It first aired in March and has since been catching everyone's attention with its unique story. In April, the "sexiest yaya" scene became YouTube's top trending video.
