‘Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kwento’ cast starts taping

The cast of “Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kwento” has started their lock-in taping for the series which is set to air in July.

In the photos shared by the “Pepito Manaloto” Facebook page, the cast could be seen shooting their scenes in a place away from the city’s hustle and bustle.

In a previous interview with GMA News Online, Michael V. said they wanted to let everyone see how Pepito and Elsa’s love story began in the ’80s by showing their “teenage days.”

Last week, it was revealed that Sef Cadayona would play young Pepito while Mikee Quintos would portray Elsa, who was originally played by Manilyn Reynes.

It will also star Kokoy de Santos who will play the young Patrick, Pepito’s best mate.

“Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kwento” will premiere on July 17. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
