Lea Salonga lends voice to new Netflix animated series 'Centaurworld'

Lea Salonga is starring in a new Netflix animated series!

The renowned singer was among other Broadway stars who lent their voices for the upcoming series called "Centaurworld."

Sharing the series' trailer on social media Wednesday, Lea wrote, "Yahooooo! Been sitting on this for more than a year! This was a blast to work on!"

"Hoping I get to see all the voice actors in person at some point and get to hug their necks!" she added.

"Centaurworld" revolves around a war horse who is transported to a magical land inhabited by singing creatures, and embarks on a journey to get back home.

According to Broadway World, other stars who lent their voices were Jessie Mueller, Megan Hilty and Kimiko Glenn.

Before lending her voice to "Centaurworld," Lea has been known to be the singing voice of Mulan and Princess Jasmine in the classic Disney films "Mulan" and "Aladdin." — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
