John Lloyd Cruz meets with Annette Gozon-Valdes

John Lloyd Cruz had a meeting with GMA Films President and programming consultant to the GMA chairman Annette Gozon-Valdes.

The matinee idol recently made his television return on GMA-7 for an e-shopping platform special.

His comeback trended on YouTube as he became emotional after performing the song "Yakap" by Charice.

"Excited to be back," he said. "Si Kuya Willie... andito ako dahil sa 'yo. Thank you, thank you," he said.

John Lloyd was previously spotted at the resort of "Wowowin" host Willie Revillame before his appearance in the TV special.

Meanwhile, Willie said he is planning a sitcom with John Lloyd and Andrea Torres.

John Lloyd went into a showbiz hiatus in 2017.
