'Lolong' trends as fans tweet excitement after teaser drop

GMA-7's upcoming adventure series "Lolong" is coming soon and fans just got hyped!

After the first sneak peek at the show dropped on Monday, the hashtag #LolongTeaser reached over 20,000 tweets on Monday as fans expressed their excitement.

Several netizens have also showered the comments section of the teaser with appreciation for the graphics and animatronics used for the crocodile named Dakila.

"Wow ang galing 'yung animatronics parang Disney lang tapos papatungan ng CGI," one fan said on Facebook.

Dakila is said to be the "highest paid actor" of the show and needs 14 people to man it.

He will star alongside Shaira Diaz and Ruru Madrid, who will play the title role. The exact premiere date of "Lolong" is yet to be announced.
