‘Pepito Manaloto’ to air season finale on May 29

“Pepito Manaloto” will air its season finale on May 29, Saturday.

In an interview with GMA News Online on Tuesday, Michael V revealed that they decided to move forward with a new season to give more to their audience.

“There’s hunger to give the audience what they want and what they need even though some things are compromised because of the situation,” he said in Filipino.

“We can’t accept that we’ve been replaying episodes so we have to do something about it.”

Now on to a new chapter in the show, Manilyn Reynes said they were “very grateful” for their audience who had supported them since day one.

The new season titled “Unang Kwento” will air on July 17 and tell Elsa and Pepito’s love story which started in the ’80s. – RC, GMA News
