Ruby Rodriguez starts new job in L.A.

Ruby Rodriguez is now a certified working girl abroad!

The actress and TV host just posted a photo from her first day at work in Los Angeles, California.

“First day of new normal for moi  #workinggirl #subwayislife,” Ruby captioned her Instagram post.

Ruby told GMA News that she was working to provide for her son Don AJ, who suffers from dyslexia.

The the longtime "Eat Bulaga" co-host has yet to share more details about her new job on social media, but she received lots of well wishes from her fans and fellow Kapusos.

"God bless you on your first day at work, @rodriguezruby ! See you soon!" GMA Pinoy TV said in the comments.

“This is great. Congratulations!” said former "Unang Hirit" host Rhea Santos.

Ruby has been posting updates from Los Angeles, California since earlier this month.

Based on her recent Instagram posts, she was reunited with her daughter Antoinette Nicole in the US just a few days after completing her COVID-19 vaccination in Quezon City. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
