‘Voltes V: Legacy’ cast to start lock-in taping
We’re soon to witness the new Voltes V gang on screen!
On Saturday, “Voltes V: Legacy” director Mark Reyes hinted that their lock-in taping would start soon as he quarantined himself in a hotel in Quezon City.
Sharing a photo of a Voltes V figurine, the director wrote, “I decided to bring this guy along with me as my power totem and lucky charm for our first lock-in. Have an ultra-electromagnetic weekend.”
He said it was his second day in quarantine.
Early this May, the director gave fans a sneak peek on the show’s preparations.
Last month, he shared a photo of cast members Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, and Matt Lozano as they prepared for their roles.
In January, a teaser for the highly anticipated series was released and garnered more than a million views on YouTube.
The live-action adaptation was licensed by Japan’s Toei Company Ltd. through the Philippine-based Telesuccess Productions. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
