Team 'Voltes V: Legacy' ready to volt in soon

Looks like "Voltes V: Legacy" will start taping very soon!

On Instagram, Thursday, Director Mark Reyes shared a photo of Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores and Matt Lozano looking fierce while staring straight at the camera.

It was followed by individual photos of the Voltes V pilots looking ready to fight the Boazanians.

"4 of 5. Team V5 getting ready to volt in soon," the director wrote in the caption, adding the hashtag #voltesvlegacy and tagging the actors.

Miguel will play Steve Armstrong, the team leader of the crew and pilot of Volt Cruiser, which transforms into Voltes V's head.

Matt and child actor Raphael Landicho will play his brothers Big Bert and Little Jon, the pilots of the Volt Panzer (body) and the Volt Frigate (legs).

Ysabel and Radson, meanwhile, will portray Jamie Robinson and Mark Gordon, the pilots of the Volt Lander (feet) and Volt Bomber (arm).

A teaser for the highly-anticipated series was released in January and has already reached more than a million views on YouTube.

The live action adaptation has been licensed by Japan's own Toei Company, Ltd. through its Philippine-licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc.
