Angelica Jones in hospital after testing positive with COVID-19

Angelica Jones is now in the hospital after testing positive with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Sharing numerous photos of herself and her son confined in the hospital on Facebook, Saturday, the actress-politician said that she was also diagnosed with asthma and pneumonia.

Thanking everyone who sent her support, Angelica wrote, "Me, my mom and Angelo are positive [with] Covid 19. Humihingi kami po ng inyong patuloy na dasal malampasan namin itong pagsubok (We ask for your continued prayers that we may overcome this challenge)."

She added, "Please pray for my mom Beth Jones  Nasa ICU [Intensive Care Unit] po siya. She had pneumonia and COVID-19. Please, really need your prayer (She's in the ICU. She had pneumonia and COVID-19. Please, we really need your prayer)."

Angelica, known for her role in "Mr. Suave," is also a board member in the 3rd district of Laguna.
