Rosé sets 2 new Guinness World Records with ‘On The Ground’
Rosé marked another milestone as she sets two new Guinness World Records with her debut single “On The Ground.”
According to Guinness World Records, Rosé is the first artist to reach number one on a Billboard Global chart as a soloist and as part of a group.
On March 27, she topped the Global Billboard 200 and the Billboard Global (excluding the US) with “On The Ground” after Blackpink previously placed first with “Lovesick Girls.”
The music video of “On The Ground” was also named the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist with 41.6 million views.
It took the spot of PSY’s “Gangnam Style” which has 36 million views.
“On The Ground” also previously topped YouTube Music’s 100 most popular songs in Australia in March while Rosé was named the first female K-pop artist to land on United Kingdom’s official singles chart.
“On The Ground” is part of Rosé's recently released solo debut album “R.”
