Heaven Peralejo tests positive for COVID-19

Heaven Peralejo has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a vlog posted on April 10, the actress documented her journey, beginning from the day she found out to the day she was transferred to the hospital.

“I don't know if I'm ready to share this with you guys. It's too personal, but... just in case,” Heaven said.

The actress did not get a fever, but experienced weakness, difficulty in breathing, body pain and headaches.

The actress was also seen using an oxygen machine after her oxygen levels got lower.

"Pagkagising ko kaninang morning, it was so difficult to breathe. Parang ang bigat bigat ng puso ko (I had difficulty in breathing when I woke up this morning. It’s like my heart feels heavy),” Heaven said.

Heaven was initially quarantined at home and in a hotel, but she was eventually taken to the hospital when her symptoms started to get worse.

She also promised her viewers that she would continue documenting her COVID-19 journey for another vlog. 

More and more showbiz personalities are opening up about their COVID-19 battle. Last week, Rhian Ramos and K Brosas revealed having recovered from the disease, while Sunshine Cruz, despite not mentioning her condition, shared being isolated and experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
