Maris Racal on Rico Blanco as a mentor: ‘Amazing is an understatement’

Maris Racal only had good words for rumored boyfriend Rico Blanco as she shares her experience with him as a mentor.

In an interview with RX931 uploaded on March 31, Maris said that “amazing is an understatement” every time she and Rico collaborates.

“Whenever I’m in the studio with him, if I type everything, I would get three books out of every studio session [because] of his words of wisdom in terms of music,” she said.

She added that Rico, as her producer, challenges her to make her songs better.

Maris is under Rico’s own record label company, Balcony Entertainment. Their latest collaboration was “Not For Me” released in September last year.

In January, Maris released a vlog on the song’s writing process, where Rico is seen mentoring her in some parts.

According to Maris, the experience was “very fun” and she learned a lot.

The two sparked dating rumors in March when the actress shared a sweet and intimate duet of them on his birthday.

Maris has previously been in a relationship with Iñigo Pascual until 2019. Rico, meanwhile, dated KC Concepcion more than a decade ago. They have no reported relationships since then. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
