Angeline Quinto tests positive for COVID-19, details her experience in vlog
Angeline Quinto revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a vlog she posted on Thursday, the singer and actress said she took an RT-PCR test after being exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus.
Advised to self-isolate at home, Quinto chronicled her first week of quarantine.
The singer said she started to experience symptoms like diarrhea, fever and loss of taste and smell, but her breathing and oxygen levels remained stable.
Quinto also expressed her worry over possibly infecting some of her coworker and housemates, saying, "Hay Lord, 'yun lang, sana maging maayos po ang lahat (Lord, I only hope that everyone will be safe)," she said.
She tried her best to keep her spirits up, especially after losing her adoptive mother last November.
“Buti na lang wala si Mama Bob dito kasi kung nandito pa ang mama, baka lalo akong matataranta at mas hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko kung nandito ang Mama Bob (It’s good that Mama Bob isn’t here right now. If mama was still here, I would just feel more panicked and not know what to do)," she said.
During the week, Quinto passed the time monitoring her temperature and oxygen levels and taking her supplements. She could also seen cleaning a bathroom, singing, dancing and surfing the internet.
By the end of her vlog, Quinto completed Day 1 to Day 7 of quarantine and planned to continue vlogging her COVID-19 for another week.
