GMA Network rolls out Holy Week programming schedule
GMA Network presents a special programming schedule in observation of the Holy Week this Maundy Thursday (April 1), Good Friday (April 2), and Black Saturday (April 3).
Docudrama "Jesus: His Life" opens Maundy Thursday at 6:00am with the stories of Mary, Joseph, and John the Baptist.
This will be followed by back-to-back animated features "Detective Conan" at 7:30am and "The Croods" at 8:30am.
CBN Asia is set to offer its Holy Week specials at 10:00am.
Afterwards, catch the heartwarming family movie "The Stray" at 11:00am.
Lunch and laughter will be served with the back-to-back replay of two episodes of "Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko" titled ‘Boggs, The Easter Bunny Mischief’ and ‘Annie, The Runaway Bride Princess’ starting at 12:00pm.
The Hollywood classic featuring the retelling of the Biblical story of Moses in “The Ten Commandments” airs at 1:30pm.
Witness the life story of Kapuso actor Mikael Daez on GMA News and Public Affairs’ "Tunay Na Buhay" at 5:00pm.
Come 5:30pm, I-Witness rolls out the documentaries ‘Gulong ng Pag-asa’ and ‘Isandaan.’
Then, tune in to GMA’s flagship newscast "24 Oras" at 6:30pm. This will be followed by a marathon of the mini-series "Love on the Balcony," top billed by Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and prime actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith, from the first season of the drama anthology ‘I Can See You’ at 7:15pm.
Cap off the night with the replay of #MPK’s "Ang Kriminal na Binuhay ng Diyos" starring Primetime King Dingdong Dantes at 10:30pm.
Welcome Good Friday (April 2) with the internationally-acclaimed religious program "Power to Unite," hosted by Ms. Elvira Yap-Go at 6:00am. Then, "Jesus: His Life" airs at 7:00am featuring the story of Caiaphas and the story of Judas.
