Gabby Concepcion is the 'Yayo' of his 'First Yaya' co-stars off camera

Sanya Lopez may be the titular character in "First Yaya," but behind the scenes, it's Gabby Concepcion who acts as a "Yayo" to his co-stars.

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," the "First Yaya" cast held an online fan meet organized by GMA Pinoy TV to bond with their fans from all over the world.

During the video conference, Sanya revealed that Gabby is often the one helping his co-stars when the cameras are not rolling.

"I feel embarrassed because he sees me carrying stuff and he would insist on carrying them for me," said the Kapuso actress in Filipino.

Gabby, for his part, only wishes to take care of his leading lady.

"Nakikita ko may dala siya, ayokong meron siyang dala. Ako 'yung yayo niya," he said.

("I see her carrying stuff and I don't want her carrying them. I'm her nanny.")

Both Sanya and Gabby said they respect and appreciate household helpers even more now that they are working on "First Yaya."

Their co-stars Pancho Magno, Pilar Pilapil, and Cassy Legaspi also shared that they have grown to love their own yayas as family.
