Maris Racal posts sweet duet with Rico Blanco, sparks dating rumors

Maris Racal took to Instagram her sweet birthday greeting for Rico Blanco, sparking dating rumors from the netizens and fellow celebrities.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress shared a black and white photo of Rico followed by a duet of them. 

“Hi Rico. Happy birthday,” she simply wrote in the caption.

In the video, they are seen sitting closely together and singing Aqualung’s “Brighter Than Sunshine” while Rico also plays the guitar.

Towards the end, Maris slowly put her face closer to Rico’s but ended the song with a fist bump instead.

A few hours after posting, Rico commented: “Hahaha love youu!!!” with three flamingo emojis.

Director Antoinette Jadaone then teased the two singers by saying “Akala ko may kiss sa dulo ihhhhhh” while Alora Sasam said “Ayeeee” with a heart.

Bianca Gonzales along with other fans, meanwhile, said that they look “cute” and “bagay” together.

With the sweetness and chemistry surrounding the two, netizens couldn’t help but wonder if the video is Maris’ “jowa reveal.”

Maris has previously been in a relationship with Iñigo Pascual until 2019. Rico, meanwhile, dated KC Concepcion more than a decade ago. They have no reported relationships since. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
