Kris Aquino to move into a beachfront house: 'Sa probinsya kami titira, lalayo muna kami sa NCR'
Kris Aquino will be moving to the province and living in a beachfront house.
In a video shared on social media Wednesday, the self-styled Queen of All Media said it will be her birthday gift to herself.
Kris turns a year older on February 14.
"Sa katunayan, birthday gift ko po sa sarili ko ang paglipat sa isang beachfront house na inupahan namin for the next 6 months," Kris, whose birthday falls on February 14, said toward the end of a video where she took the "Jojowain o Totropahin" challenge.
"Yes, you heard it correctly. Sa probinsya kami titira. Lalayo muna kami sa NCR," she added, though she didn't mention where exactly.
The actress and host said she will only return to Central Luzon every six weeks to check on her eldest son Josh, whom she said, has found his happiness in Tarlac.
Kris is no longer residing in Greenmeadows, which might be familiar to her followers as she films many of her webisodes from there.
According tot the celebrity, she and her family have been living in a serviced residence in BGC for seven months now, "which many of you assumed was our condominium. I am taking my time in deciding where my sons and I will feel most comfortable."
The 49-year-old actress said the new Skyway Extension "have greatly increased our options."
Kris said she decided to go far away from the city living amid the pandemic because she has to take care of her health.
"Kailngan mas lalo ko pang pag-ingatan ang kalusugan ko because as you saw in this video, I am the only parent the 13-year-old beside me has," she said.
The actress and host, who prioritizes her sons more than anything, said, "Kuya Josh and Bimb will always remain the greatest priorities of my life but I can only give them my love and their much needed sense of security if I do everything I can to protect my health."
Kris also noted how "especially because we all know my immunity is compromised because of my autoimmune conditions."
She said she previously "avoided answering questions in the past because I was still finalizing our plans."
Now that she's sure with them, Kris decided to finally reveal her plans. "I have always done my best to be as humanly as possible with all of you, my followers na kinonsider ko nang bahagi ng napakalaking pamilyang nabuo natin dito sa IG & FB. I love you and God Bless You All," she ended her note.
