Lani Misalucha reveals she's still struggling with singing following hearing loss
Over a month after revealing she was now partially deaf, Lani Misalucha opened up about her ongoing struggles.
"I'm still struggling with my singing," the renowned Filipino singer said in an Instagram post.
"I cannot hear my voice well as well as the music. With the tinnitus being too predominant in my head is oftentimes masking the other sounds around me that also oftentimes driving me nuts," she added.
Last month, Lani revealed that she is now using a hearing aid, although she worried about losing her ability to sing.
"This is my profession, and then this happens. This has been my love, and then I don't know, ang iniisip ko na lang, is it going to be taken away from me?" she said in an earlier interview on "24 Oras."
But now, Lani is making it clear that she is far from discouraged.
"I cannot thank you enough for pouring out all your love and support to me," she told her fans in her Instagram post.
"With all of you cheering me on I'm slowly regaining my confidence. Thank you uli," she added.
Lani, dubbed Asia's Nightingale, revealed her hearing loss during the Christmas Special of singing competition "The Clash."
She said that she and her husband Noli battled the life-threatening bacterial meningitis in October. —JCB, GMA News
