Richard Yap reveals his hidden talent in martial arts

Richard Yap previously said that he wanted to dabble into action projects now that he is a Kapuso.

And looks like there's a very good reason for this interest—apparently, he has a hidden talent in martial arts!

In Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Richard shared how he had taken a liking to learning some fighting skills.

"When I was younger 'yung mga uso na films at that time were puro mga kung fu movies. My brother and I we're martial arts aficionados so dun kami na-inspire and we tried a lot of things," the actor said.

Richard said he has dipped into taekwondo, aikido, karate, and Chinese kung fu. Aside from these, he also knows how to wield nunchucks!

Meanwhile, the actor also ticked another box on his project bucket list: doing comedy. This Saturday, he will appear as a guest in "Pepito Manaloto."

Working with Kapuso comedy genius Michael V has been on his radar, so he was happy to receive the invitation. Unfortunately, he did not have any scenes with Bitoy himself.

"Sayang lang hindi kami nagkita pero hopefully I will be able to guest in his other shows next time na magsama kami sa isang eksena din," he said.
