Jaclyn Jose to audition for Disney film

Nothing can stop Jaclyn Jose from achieving more in her career and this year, she plans to venture into the international scene.

On Lhar Santiago’s “24 Oras” report Tuesday, the actress said she had spoken with her manager about auditioning for the role of a Filipino grandmother on Disney’s “Spider-Man 3.”

“Sabi ko ‘submit a resume, give it a try.’ Two sequences won’t harm me if ever,” she said.

Early this year, Disney announced its casting call, which also caught the attention of actress Gina Pareño.

Currently, Jaclyn is working on two films, namely, “Kontrabida” and “Anak ng Macho Dancer,” where she will reprise her role as Bambi from the 1988 film “Macho Dancer.”

Asked about the newest member of their family, the actress couldn’t help but adore her “gwapo and mestizo” grandson Koa.

Jaclyn said she’s happy for daughter Andi Eigenmann and partner Philmar Alipayo for having “genuine happiness.”

“They’re just living their lives to the fullest,” she said.
