Glaiza de Castro, Jasmine Curtis-Smith starrer 'Midnight In a Perfect World' to be streamed online this January

Critically acclaimed Filipino horror film "Midnight in a Perfect World" will soon be available for streaming on UPSTREAM on January 29.

Starring two Kapuso actresses Glaiza de Castro and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, "Midnight in a Perfect World" is set in a futuristic and seemingly perfect Metro Manila where blackouts happen nightly and people disappear mysteriously. It follows the story of Mimi (Jasmine) and Jinka (Glaiza) who both think the weird events are a hoax.

The two later discover what lurks in the strange darkness.

Written and directed by Dodo Dayao, "Midnight in a Perfect World" also stars Anthony Flacon, Dino Pastrano, and Bing Pimentel.

On their respective Instagram accounts, Glaiza and Jasmine talked about the film and its importance

“So thrilled that ‘Midnight In a Perfect World’ is streaming,” said Glaiza.

“Ang masasabi ko lang… hindi maisasa telebisyon ang rebolusyon,” the actress added, translating American poet and musician Gil Scott- Heron who performed the song “Revolution Will Not Be Televised.”

Meanwhile, Jasmine said, “Let us guide you in the world of random blackouts, curfews, running from the you-know-whos and figuring out what kind of trip this is all about.”
