5 reasons to watch new drama ‘Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat’

Looking for an inspiring television habit? Watch out because “Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat” is finally premiering in February 2021!

Having been postponed because of the ongoing health crisis, there is no stopping it now and the cast are more than ready to showcase what they have been working hard for.

To get the ball rolling, here are five reasons why you should definitely check it out:

1. It’s a story about family.

At a time when everyone at home is now spending more time together than usual, this show is a great platform to spread the importance of having a family.

Aside from featuring the Filipinos’ culture, each of us will be able to relate to it, especially in resolving issues in the household.

2. It shows the strength of a young woman.

Promising actress Pauline Mendoza will showcase her versatility as an actress by playing the role of Iris Salvador, a young woman whose rights and family have been taken away from her.

Circling around trying to get what she deserves, Pauline’s character will motivate young women like her to stand out and fight.

3. Everyone can relate to it.

According to the cast, characters in the drama are very relatable given that just like everyone else, they also have their own “struggles” and it deals with different kinds of relationships.

4. It has a refreshing cast.

Although gaining hype from her performance on “Kambal, Karibal,” this is Pauline’s first lead role and it is surely a great platform for her to show more of what she’s got.

According to costar Manolo Pedrosa, it is a “pleasure” working with her given that she is “sobrang galing.”

The show also stars Kristoffer Martin, Dave Bornea, Liezel Lopez, and Therese Malvar.

In an interview, Pauline shared that veteran actors John Estrada and Carmina Villaroel helped and motivated them to deliver their roles well.

“With the help of my co-actors, hindi po ako nahirapan kasi po nandiyan silang lahat para sa ’kin. Na-feel ko na supported ako,” she said.

5. Scenes are played naturally.

Given that the cast were placed in a lock-in taping, they were able to build a “solid” relationship with each other that was reflected in the output itself.

“Iba kasi yung chemistry ’pag araw-araw kayo nagkikita, made-develop talaga siya. Kapag normal taping siya, ’di kami gan’to ka-close, walang mabubuong bond,” Kristoffer said.

“Mas nakilala namin yung isa’t-isa, so nag-reflect siya sa working relationship naming lahat,” he added.
