Here are the MMFF 2020 nominees

The list of nominees for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival has been released.

MMFF spokesperson Noel Ferrer and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles announced the nominees in a Facebook livestream Thursday.

Leading the entries are “The Boy Foretold By The Stars,” “The Missing,” and “Magikland” with 12 nominations each.

Up for grabs are 19 awards, including best picture, best director, best lead and supporting actors, and best screenplay.

The entries for the MMFF, which turned virtual this year, may be watched starting Dec. 25 through the Upstream.ph website. – RC, GMA News
