Dingdong Dantes, Atom Araullo, more environmental champions to talk about climate change on Facebook Live

Dingdong Dantes will be joining environmental champions on a Facebook Live on Sunday, December 20, to talk about climate change.

With Filipinos in Mindanao this time, suffering from massive flooding due to Typhoon Vicky, the Kapuso Primetime King said the Facebook Live session will be a part of their youth-led climate action campaign that they launched five years ago.

"Its battlecry remains true, if not more significant, to this day," Dingdong wrote in the caption of his post.

He will be joining Atom Araullo, Kim Atienza, Climate Change Commissioner Rachel Herrera, former CCC Secretary Lucille Sering, Mayor Tin Antonio of Alcala, Cagayan, UNDP Country Representative Selva Ramachandran, and Jun Sabayton in an e-dialogue for "Now What? Climate Action #NowPH."

Ria Atayde, Founder of Communities Organized For Resource Allocation (CORA) Atoinette Taus, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Angel Locsin will also be joining the e-dialogue.

The e-dialogue will be streamed on the Facebook pages of Yes Pinoy, Fyt, and Medisure Plus on December 20 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Those who wish to be part of this action against climate change can also join the NowPH Facebook group.

Back in 2015, Dingdong gave a speech at the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference, where he explained that "the #NowPH campaign aims to raise the voices of the Filipino youth on a global level, in lieu of the COP21."

"The movement used online and offline platforms to engage young people across the Philippines. Different initiatives were implemented such as group discussion, training, media promotions, workshops, and roadshows to encourage youth participation," he added.

"Social media interactions were also put in place to gather and collate expressions of support and commitment from the different sectors."
