Richard Yap is now a Kapuso!
The Chinoy actor officially signed a contract with GMA Artist Center on Wednesday afternoon, December 16, at the GMA Compound in Quezon City.
Present at the signing were GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Joy Marcelo, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and co-manager Kate Valenzuela.
"I'm feeling actually overwhelmed because I never thought this day would come," Richard told GMA News Online.
"I was offered a project before, a year ago, but we weren't able to do it because I was doing another show so I thought ,you know, we wouldn't get the chance. But here we are now and it's really happening, so I'm really very thankful to be here and very grateful that I have been welcomed into the GMA family," he added.
Last August, the Filipino-Chinese actor posted a behind-the-scenes photo with Kapuso stars Ken Chan and Rita Daniela for the film project "My First Your Last."
Lotlot de Leon will also be part of the cast. The film will be directed by Louie Ignacia and Rosswill HIlario under Heaven's Entertainment.
