Julie Anne San Jose reveals meaning behind new song 'Try Love Again'

After months of being in quarantine amid the pandemic, Asia's Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose gifted her fans with a new original song called "Try Love Again."

The Kapuso singer, songwriter and host just revealed the meaning behind the song's heartfelt lyrics before performing it on GMA morning show "Unang Hirit."

"It's about moving on and hoping to love and be loved again," Julie said during a short interview over video.

"It's also a message of giving hope to everyone," she added.

Shortly after Julie Anne San Jose was announced to do the official cover of Netflix original "Over the Moon" theme song, the Kapuso singer dropped “Try Love Again,” with many Filipinos still confined to their homes due to rising cases of COVID-19.

Although much of the song touches on being heartbroken by love, the lyrics also impart an inspirational message for those who want to start anew.

"Try Love Again" is available for streaming and download on digital platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon, and Deezer.
