3 Things to expect from Myrtle Sarrosa's virtual concert 'Still Love Me'

Myrtle Sarrosa is set to have a virtual concert titled "Still Love Me" on November 28 and it will give a look back at her self-composed songs from her 2016 album.

In an interview with the internal press of GMA Network, Myrtle dished out details on what fans and viewers can expect from her virtual concert.

The Kapuso star said the title of the concert came from one of her songs titled "Still Love Me, which is about a steadfast kind of a love. "Despite the changes that happen in life, will you still love me?" Myrtle explained.

She shared the [concert] director like the song and suggested it to be the title of her concert. "Tapos 'yung lahat nung genre na gagamitin namin sa concert paiba-iba and for this concert, this time around instead of just doing mga covers ng iba't ibang songs nag-focus kami on the songs that I wrote  in the past."

1. It will have a piece of Myrtle through her self-written songs

Myrtle said the fans and viewers will enjoy her original compositions, because unlike before where she "would always hold myself back sa mga live performances, this time I became more vulnerable. I really wanted to share more of my experiences, stories, and life."

"Mas makaka-relate sila kasi mapapakinggan nila 'yung songs na ako talagang nag-sulat," she added.

Some of the songs she will be singing include "Label," "Nasaan Ka Na," "Tadhana," and "Heartbroken."

2. Expect it to be just as good as a live virtual concert

According to Myrtle, they pre-recorded the concert because they didn't want internet connectivity issues to get in the way. Bespite this, she reassured that the experience will be just as good as a live virtual concert.

"We considered doing it live, but the problem kasi is really the internet. May worries kasi kami na paano kapag nag-down yung internet? So we decided na it would be best if we pre-recorded it."

"We still treated it as live so most of the performances parang one take lang, not unless merong battery issues or something like that — or merong parang nagkamali sa mga technicalities but most of it is treated as live," she added.

Myrtle said they shot it in Teatrino in San Juan which was the location of her actual physical concert that was supposedly scheduled last April.

3. There will be a theatrical piece performance

Myrtle said the genre of her songs are pop with a little bit of rap, but he will be breaking out of her comfort zone with the help of her guest Gerald Santos who will be her main guest.

"Magugulat na lang kayo na magiging theatrical yung isang performance ko Im not into theater but I challenged myself to perform a Gerald theatrical piece."

Aside from Gerald, Myrtle said she will also have other surprise guests for her concert. — LA, GMA News
