One of the viral "pabebe girls" Michelle Alfonso wants to become a GMA-7 artist

Remember the "pabebe girls" video that went viral in 2015?

Well, one of them, Michelle Alfonso, was among the child star guests on Eat Bulaga's "Bawal Judgemental" on Saturday, alongside Ice Seguerra and Japoy Lizardo. 

In a short interview with Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros, the now 16-year-old Michelle shared she was only 11 years old when they shot the "pabebe girls" video.

According to Michelle, they shot the viral video with another friend, Janet Ricabo, all for fun.

"Kakatapos lang po namin mag-practice nun ng sayaw po tapos sabi po ng nag-video sa 'min, gawa daw po kami ng video. Sabihin lang daw po namin yung gusto naming sabihin," she said.

Michelle shared that  she was scolded by her mom, when she found out about the viral video. "Bakit daw po ganon ako magsalita. Tapos nabasa po nila yung mga comments," she said.

Along with fame that came with the viral status, Michelle also received hate comments, especially about how she looked. 

In an interview with PEP.ph, Michelle said she wants to enter the showbiz industry and become an artist of GMA-7.

"Gusto ko pa rin pong pumasok sa showbiz kung may magma-manage sa akin," she told PEP.ph

"Masaya ako habang pinapanood ang sarili ko sa 'Bawal Judgmental' dahil ngayon na lang uli ako lumabas sa TV," she said. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
