Sandy Andolong goes back to taping after kidney transplant

Sandy Andolong, who has undergone a kidney transplant, is now back to taping.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras” Friday, the veteran actress had a shoot for a “Wish Ko Lang” episode with Ysabel Ortega and Psalms David.

Although she had just undergone surgery, the veteran actress said she didn’t fear going back to taping amid the pandemic.

“Walang fear on my part,” Sandy said. “Well for one, because I know I’m protected by God.”

She added, “Secondly, basta I’m careful and the people around me, and I have to say sa taping namin talagang super careful silang lahat.”

For the “Wish Ko Lang” episode, which will air this coming Saturday, Sandy will play the mother of Ysabel who miraculously cries tears of blood. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
