Miley Cyrus may have released "Party in the USA" way back in 2009 but what do you know? It's trending again on Twitter after Joe Biden won against Donald Trump in the 2020 US Presidential Election.

Citing Variety, E! News said the single also cracked into the iTunes Top 200 chart in the United States.

According to E! News, Biden supporters have been using the song to celebrate the Democratic candidates success in this year's elections.

On Twitter, Miley posted a video of Biden and wrote, "Now THIS is a PARTY IN THE USA!"

The singer-songwriter also retweeted a couple of videos where citizens were seen celebrating the election results with her song.

"Party in the USA," originally intended for Jessie J, who wrote it with Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly, is the top trending topic on Twitter with over 149,000 tweets, as of this writing.
