‘Tadhana’ to mark 3rd anniversary with special double episode

For the past three years, “Tadhana” has told colorful, romantic, heroic, and inspiring stories of Filipinos all over the world.

The weekly drama anthology presented by Marian Rivera is marking its third anniversary with a special two-part episode titled “The One That Ran Away,” starring Paolo Contis, Kim Molina, and EA Guzman premiering Saturday, Nov. 7, on GMA-7.

The story follows Hannah (Kim Molina) and Carlo (EA Guzman) whose plan to get married has seen several delays due to the bridegroom’s hectic business meetings.

Things take a dramatic turn about a month before the big day when the couple’s wedding photoshoot finally pushes through.

However, it is revealed that Hannah and wedding photographer Jared (Paolo Contis) have met each other before.

Marian expressed her excitement over “The One That Ran Away” during a Zoom conference on Wednesday, saying the audience is in for a wild ride full of twists and turns.

In fact, if she were to sum it up in one word, it would be: “Nakakaloka.”

Marian also took the opportunity to thank viewers for supporting “Tadhana,” as well as the hardworking Filipinos who have shared stories for the past three years.

“Nakakabilib ’yung pagmamahal at determinasyon nila na magtrabaho sa ibang bansa para lang sa kabuhayan at kinabukasan na ibibigay niya para sa pamilya nila,” said the Kapuso Prime Time Queen.

“Ang ‘Tadhana’ ngayon ay hindi na tungkol lang sa OFW natin—ito ay kuwento na ng buong Pilipino, kaya kung meron silang mga kuwento ng mga buhay nila na makakapag bigay-inspirasyon sa kapwa nating Pilipino ay maaari silang mag-send sa ating ‘Tadhana’ para, at least, mailabas natin yan at maging inspirasyon para sa iba,” she added. – RC, GMA News
