Donnalyn Bartolome breaks into tears while 'unboxing' stuff her ex sent back

Returning each other's things is one of the most painful parts of a break-up.

In a vlog she titled "Araw ng patay kong puso," Donnalyn Bartolome decided to "unbox" some of her stuff that her ex boyfriend sent back.

The singer, actress and vlogger ended up breaking into tears as each of the items reminded her about her big breakup six months ago.

Donna was reunited with some extra underwear, an old tube top that she wore on their first date, and hair extensions that she had left lying around at his place.

Her ex also returned some deeply sentimental stuff that made Donna tear up, like party favors for a birthday surprise they were going to do for Donna's sister.

Donna was careful not to reveal too much about her her ex's identity, only that he was a "private person" and they have been in an "on and off" relationship for almost five years.

Donna said only a few friends knew about her breakup because she didn't want to make too much of a big deal with all that has been going on during the pandemic.

"Everyone is going through something during the pandemic so parang I just didn't wanna add to it," she said at the beginning of the video.

Donna also managed to crack a few jokes all throughout the "unboxing," despite its painful contents that were now just remnants of her past relationship.
