Carol Banawa finishes bachelor's degree in nursing before 40: 'You are never too old for your dreams!'
Carol Banawa has finished her bachelor's degree in nursing before she turned 40 years old.
On Instagram, Carol posted a photo banner of herself clad in her toga showing that she has graduated from Grand Canyon University.
"Another goal achieved!" Carol wrote in the caption of her post.
"Thank you mahal, for working so hard for us, which allowed me to pursue my studies..,thank you for always pushing me, supporting me and believing in me," she added.
Carol continued and thanked her whole family for the support and understanding they have shown her.
"Thank you to my children for always being patient with Mama, for understanding the times that I have to stay in front of the computer to finish my posts, papers and projects..I love you all so much," she wrote.
"To my relatives and friends who have always supported me, cheered for me, and celebrated with me..thank you, I miss you all and I love you all!" she added.
At the latter part of her post, Carol encouraged dreamers who are thinking twice because of their age.
"Bachelor's degree before 40. You are never too old to reach for your dreams! Dream it. Believe it. Do it. Conquer it. To GOD be the GLORY!!!
Carol was already a renowned singer in the Philippines before migrating to the US in 2003, where she is now based with her husband Ryan Crisostomo and their two children.
She is best known as the voice behind "Tanging Yaman," "Bakit Di Totohanin," and "Iingatan Ka."
Carlo finished summa cum laude in her associates degree in nursing in May 2018.
Last April, Carol announced that she served as a frontliner nurse in the United States of America amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
