Joey de Leon marks 74th birthday with simple celebration at home

Joey de Leon marked his 74th birthday with a simple home celebration last Wednesday, October 14.

In a series of Instagram posts, the "Eat Bulaga" host and Henyo Master shared photos of his delicious-looking birthday cakes, as well as a tray of crabs sent over by his former co-host turned Senator Vicente Sotto III and his wife Helen.

Joey was also flooded with festive birthday greetings from friends thru social media, including his EB family.

Joey de Leon is one of the original hosts of GMA-7's noontime variety show "Eat Bulaga."

He's part of the iconic "Tito, Vic and Joey" trio with "Bossing" Vic Sotto and now-Senator Tito Sotto.

Joey has been spending a lot more time at home since "Eat Bulaga" underwent some changes in accordance to COVID-19 health protocols, but the host has been very active on Instagram where he regularly posts his witty paintings. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
