Lani Misalucha says being included in TOFA’s 100 Most Influential list a surprise

Lani Misalucha expressed her bewilderment when she was named among The Outstanding Filipinos in America Awards’ (TOFA) 100 Most Influential honorees.

“Sa totoo lang hindi ko alam bakit ako sinali doon eh. Sigurado ba kayo?” Asia’s Nightingale said jokingly during a media conference for “The Clash” on Wednesday.

Lani will serve as judge on “The Clash,” which will premiere Oct. 3.

“Biro mo, sino ba naman kasabayan doon, as in malalaking tao. Mga shaker, mover, mga influential tao talaga as in,” she added.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, TOFA announced its list of 100 Most Influential Filipinos in America, which also included singer Lea Salonga and journalist Maria Ressa.

The TOFA 100 Awards ceremony will be held online on Oct. 31. – RC, GMA News
