Mikael Daez looks back on childhood memories as he bids goodbye to old home

Mikael Daez's family is letting go of the beautiful childhood home where he grew up with eight other siblings.

In his most recent vlog, the Kapuso actor and his wife Megan Young did one last “family house tour” before his family officially moved out.

Viewers were given a glimpse inside the house's many rooms, including the spacious garage, Mikael's old room that used to be a gym, and a bathroom where Mikael's late father had installed a pull-up bar to exercise.

The couple even showed the driveway where Megan drove in to meet Mikael's family for the first time.

"The day that Mikael asked me to be his girlfriend, birthday niya. [He said] 'Pumunta ka dito sa bahay namin, ipapakilala kita sa pamilya ko,' agad-agad, within the same day! Sabi ko 'Oh, gosh.' Medyo nakakapressure 'yun."

Megan also helped Mikael "reenact" some of his favorite childhood memories in the house, including that “dramatic” moment many years ago when his mom told him she was having another baby.

The news definitely came as a shock to Mikael because he knew his OB had told her “she could not have babies anymore."

“So duh, hello? Who would not be shocked?" the actor said.
