‘All Out Sundays’ cast excited to return to studio for new episodes starting Sept. 27

GMA-7’s Sunday musical-comedy-variety show “All Out Sundays” is set to return to the studio for its new episodes after months of going digital amid the quarantine period.

Among the stars who will be performing on the studio stage of AOS are Mark Bautista, Gabbi Garcia, Kyline Alcantara, and Ruru Madrid.

In a virtual interview with the Kapuso stars on Thursdays, the four of them expressed their excitement over returning to the studio to perform.

“Happy kami, happy ako personally kasi nga matagal-tagal din na nasa bahay lang kami nagwo-work and magkikita kita ulit ’yung AOS barkada, and ayun makakakanta ulit kami sa stage, nakakaexcite,” Mark told reporters.

Meanwhile, Gabbi said she reminded herself that even if they’re excited about their return to the studio, the virus is still out there.

Nevertheless, she said she felt safe at GMA because “they follow the safety protocols; they follow all the IATF guidelines.”

Ruru said he’s happy to be back at the studio because he struggled with filming his performances from home.

“Mahirap po na mag-setup like ako po kinakailangan ko pa po pumunta ng Antipolo para po makapag-shoot ng kailangan open area so medyo hassle po talaga,” he said.

“So this time na balik studio na, less hassle and at the same time masaya din kahit papano na magkikita kita po kaming lahat kahit na sabihin mong bawal beso, bawal shake hands ganyan,” he added.

“Pero at least nagkikita-kita po at alam po namin na safe ang isa’t isa and medyo risky nga lang talaga. Buti na lang nakapagswab po lahat.”

Kyline, who turned 18 recently, said she thought only those 21 and above were allowed to shoot, but thankfully she was among the talents allowed to perform inside the studio.

She said she’s more excited than scared to be back because she felt a part of her was missing when she wasn’t able to do shows.

“Nung nag-quarantine parang may mga nawala, hindi buo yung pagkatao ko, kasi feeling ko nabubuo ’yung pagkatao ko kapag nae-entertain ako,” she said.

According to Haydee Bellen of “All Out Sunday,” what’s different about the show is they will try to find the balance between “keeping what was well loved by the audience prior to the quarantine so we retained some of the segments.”

Haydee said there would be dance and game segments where there would be cash prizes for audiences.

She said it would still be a full-packed production and show “with different twists along the way.”

Artists who are under 18 years old, meanwhile, will still be performing from their own homes.

The show will also have guests for every episode.
