Enzo Pineda says he has recovered from COVID-19, thanks frontliners

Actor and StarStruck alum Enzo Pineda has recovered from COVID-19.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Enzo said that he and his father, 1-PACMAN party-list Representative Eric Pineda, were treated for the respiratory illness at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City.

"Officially a Covid-19 Survivor," Enzo said. "I want to thank my loving family & friends who kept me and my Dad in good spirits."

He also thanked the frontliners at the hospital who treated him and his father. 

"Thank you to all the hardworking doctors, nurses, & crew of Cardinal Santos Medical Center who took good care of me and my Dad. Mga bayani kayo and salamat sa lahat ng sakripisyo na ginagawa niyo para sa ating bayan." he said.

"Most importantly I want to thank God for giving me strength. Definitely this pandemic made me more closer to Him. I promised God that I will come out stronger mentally, physically, & spiritually after this experience. God is good."

The congressman, meanwhile, announced that he tested positive for the virus on September 6. Enzo's post did not say whether his father has recovered from COVID as well. — BM, GMA News
