‘Madrasta’ cast reunites in new ‘Wish Ko Lang’ episode

The cast of “Madrasta” has reunited in a new episode of the weekly show “Wish Ko Lang.”

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras” Thursday, Arra San Agustin, Juancho Trivino, Thea Tolentino, Herlene Budol, and Almira Muhlach will appear in the upcoming episode.

“Last taping namin kami kami rin magkakasama,” said Juancho, while Arra added: “First taping namin since the lockdown kami kami pa rin. Ito kasi first taping namin.”

While observing social distancing protocols during the taping, Thea said they still continued to bond and joke with each other.

Arra and Juancho, who were partners on “Madrasta,” would play siblings in this “Wish Ko Lang” episode, together with Thea.

“Kami ni Arra ’di kami love team dito ... tapos si Thea mabait pa, so ano nangyayari?” Juancho shared, laughing and referring to Thea’s villain character on “Madrasta.”

The new “Wish Ko Lang” episode will premiere on Sept. 19. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
