Dingdong Dantes wins Asian Star Prize at 15th Seoul International Drama Awards
Dingdong Dantes isn’t done making waves both locally and internationally!
At this year’s Seoul International Drama Awards, the Kapuso actor received the prestigious Asian Star Prize award for his role on the Philippine adaptation of the hit drama series “Descendants of the Sun.”
Dingdong, who played Capt. Lucas Manalo or Big Boss, received the trophy during the virtual awarding ceremony on Tuesday and paid tribute to all frontliners in the world.
“This award is also a tribute to all frontliners of the world—soldiers, healthcare workers, and volunteers. This award is also for my loved ones and the Filipino people,” the actor said in his acceptance speech.
“May we find consolation knowing that our stories are being appreciated, especially during these trying times,” he added.
