Yasmien Kurdi on shooting under new normal: 'Nakakapanibago 'yung feeling'
Yasmien Kurdi admitted that shooting under the new normal is going to take some adjusting on the part of actors and actresses.
According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," the Starstruck alumna just returned home from six-day lock-in taping for GMA's new anthology series "I Can See You."
"Nakakapanibago 'yung feeling kasi kakaiba siya. Medyo weird—minimal crew, minimal 'yung movement, ang daming restrictions when it comes to the scenes," she said.
Yasmien said she had to become self-sufficient due to the absence of personal assistants.
"For artista nga we do our own makeup, we do our own hair, kami magdadala ng gamit namin," she said.
The new arrangement also made it necessary for the actors to be fully prepared before heading into taping.
"Prior to going to the set, nakakapag-read na kami, alam na namin yung lines namin, nakapag-online reading sessions na kami," Yasmien said.
And after the taping, they still have to make the sacrifice of going under self-quarantine to keep their loved ones safe from COVID-19.
"Hindi ko ma-hug, kunyari 'pag sisilip lang sila or something. Naka-mask ako the whole time pero sabi ko as much as possible the huwag na lang," she said. —MGP, GMA News
