Dingdong Dantes gives sneak peek of 'Descendants' 'closed group' shoot
The Philippine adaptation of 'Descendants of the Sun' has resumed shooting and in an Instagram post, Dingdong Dantes shared what that's like.
Posting a photo of himself in the outdoors, seated on a bench with his laptop, Dingdong said they are currently on the 7th day of their 12-day "closed group" shoot in Rizal and much like in the bible, their 7th day is rest day.
"The initial few days of the shoot was challenging because we were all adjusting to the new protocols," Dingdong said. But thanks to the strong camaraderie and the smooth working relationship of the team, "naging mas madali ang adjustment."
He shares that internet connection has been poor in their vicinity so on rest day, he rode "a few kilometers to get some signal" to check on Marian and their kids, "who I truly miss," he said.
Dingdong was also going to check on his new business venture, Dingdong.ph, a delivery app that intends to give work to displaced entertainment workers, that is currently on dry run, as well as on the collective Aktor.
"I hope that you and your loved ones are also healthy over there," he ended his note.
The entertainment industry is slowly getting back on its feet after COVID-19 and the ensuring lockdowns put shootings, tapings, and live shows to a halt.
